He also talks about his Top Ten Human Vocations, and why they ranked that way. Admittedly, Austin didn’t use monster vocations too often, but he did experiment with them enough on subsequent playthroughs of DQ 7 to get a pretty good understanding of what makes some of them so great.

Keep in mind those mid tier S units (ingame S, not my list) are to be considered closer to rank 4 (lv90) than 5 (lv100). I think its fair to think of event farmable A’s as max awaken, gacha A’s as low awakened, event gacha A as unawakened, Moosifer unawakened (although this current event will be awakening some), gacha B as high awakened, S units as unawakened except for KM or RR since they are pretty much always targeted for a dupe.
